The Lloyd’s Story

Nestled into the historic Shirley Dean Apartments at Nº1 Brunswick St, Lloyd’s serves to revive the location’s origins as a general store to the local community.

Lloyd’s is a small Café /Bar/ Bistro opened on Monday - Friday 7am - 2pm & Friday & Saturday nights from 5pm. The menu has European influences; serving cheese, charcuterie, olives, anchovies and share plates of sous vide meats. The Café serves boutique coffee brand Allpress and Gourmet sandwich’s & freshly baked treats.

The Bar boasts biodynamic wines from France and Italy alongside top-shelf Mezcal and Whisky and delicious cocktails. Lloyd’s is a great place to host intimate parties of up to 30 people.

Lloyd’s is a warm and welcoming sanctuary for those looking to escape the city bustle. We can give you a moment to sit back and appreciate the simple things in life. It might not always be easy but sometimes what you need is a cold drink, a tasty meal and a good chat.
